Sewing for Japan

I wanted to do a quick post to show you the little shirt I made during Living with Punks' Sew-Along for Japan.  In an effort to put a smile on many childrens' faces, Pink Fig designed this sweet Chloe and Mieko applique and gave us the pattern pieces and instructions to make it.  Then, Living with Punks held a sew-along last week to demonstrate each step of the project.  This was a fun, easy little project that I meant to post about earlier in the week, but there's definitely still time to participate if you want!  You can click the button on my sidebar for more information, or visit this post at Living with Punks.  All of the shirts will be mailed to Japan and given to children there.  What a great cause!

EG is so excited to mail this one tomorrow!  I hope to make at least one more this week to mail off.  Mailing information can be found here.  Hope you decide to make one {if you haven't already}!

  1. CUTE!!!
I'd have loved to have taken part in it but, for some reason (I guess issues with my laptop set up) I couldn't download the pdf. I tried several times always having to restart the computer. Maybe next time.
